About Marie Rankin
Hi, I'm Marie Rankin, a registered nurse.
Since I've always wanted to help people in some way, I went to college at age 40 to obtain my ADN. While working my way through nursing school as a certified nursing assistant, I managed to graduate from nursing school with high honors. Before becoming a nurse, I was an emergency medical technician.
Since graduation, I've worked primarily in critical care, although I've also held the position of Director of Nursing for LTC, a home health care agency. Since moving to St. Petersburg, Florida almost three years ago, I've been working in high tech home health care and doing some travel nursing. After breaking my foot last year while working on a critical care contract in Texas, I realized the need to make yet another career transition---this time, to case management and medical/legal consulting.
I have a wonderful S.O. named Gary, and my hobbies are boating, computers, crafts,
gardening, traveling and taking care of our pets.
