I'm also a single parent of a 5-year-old, Charlie. Charlie is truly God's gift to me.

Presently, I'm working in an emergency department. I am responsible for all the patient education information, including putting on community health fairs and recognition days for EMS personnel and days of recognition for Emergency Nurse Day. Knowledge is power!

I feel that everyone should have access to quality health care, and that nurses need to start to be accountable for themselves and their profession---in other words, stop the complaining and get involved!
